The Problem
Our research shows that for the
period October 2002 through June 2003 very little
search engine traffic data for Activity By Search
Engine had been logged in WebTrends log data for
a selected sample of dynamically driven websites.
These dynamically generated websites showed very
few search engine visitors finding the site.
The Challenge
Unique dynamic content (product/item
descriptions, relevant site information, press releases,
PDF files, Frames pages, employee/job directories
and third party content) is being overlooked by major
search engines due to limitations in search engine
technology.
The Response
Web Ignite developed a solution
for dynamic websites. Our new service, Dynamic Siteview
(sm), optimizes, caches and delivers dynamically
generated website content to major search engines
while meeting all search engine compliance guidelines.
The Results
Technical notes with tracking and
reporting reveal significant value and opportunity
for dynamically generated websites. The most notable
benefit is a dramatic increase in relevant search
engine traffic to the site. Before and after results
consistently show dramatic increases in the number
of weekly visitors finding and using the actual content
on client sites. Another benefit is the "content
based" search traffic going to the site. "Content
based" visitors are those that did not use
the company name in their search.
The
Methodology
Web Ignite's patent pending Dynamic
Siteview (sm) is a technical opportunity for dynamically
generated websites.
- Dynamic Siteview (sm) will search engine optimize
each dynamically generated page on your server.
- Dynamic Siteview (sm) facilitates a search engine's
ability to crawl and find all links to your dynamic
pages.
- Dynamic Siteview (sm) reporting will separate
new search engine visitors from paid or pre-existing
visitors.
- Dynamic Siteview (sm) will assist
a search engine in finding your dynamically generated
content.
Please note: Not all dynamically
generated websites can benefit with Dynamic Siteview
(sm). Web Ignite technicians will predetermine if
Dynamic Siteview (sm) is appropriate for your site.
